Responsibilities: -P1 product component technical definition respecting quality, cost and lead-time targets -Define studies or pre-studies in CAD, §Design his own part/component relative to specifications or CAD elements given by PTM R&D/Design Leaders, and responsible of its definition (design rules, manufacturability, mechanical/thermal constraints, style, …) §Responsible of the good application of Branch standards & regulations rules, CAD methodology rules, Design Guidelines, CAD quality rules, Checklists and design quality control. -Responsible of lead-time/costs of his tasks (Efficiency and timing follow-up) by respecting projects milestones/dead line, and CAD engineers/operators follow-up if any under his lead. -Validate & follow-up of all CAD data concerning his (or her) component inside VLS Branch PDM/PLM systems. -Design Mechanical Validation by simple FEA tools integrated in CAD software. -Design competences improvement -Participate to Design Efficiency & quality Improvement in Working Group. May lead the working Group. -Proficient in CAD software, responsible to monitor/improve CAD performance/product knowledge level of CAD engineers/operators under his lead for his component technical definition. -Ensure good application of N+1 requirement.
